Grace Morningstar is an Ottawa-based cellist and DJ with a focus on contemporary Canadian music. Grace breathes life into new repertoire across orchestral, theatre, and studio performance settings. She empowers others through teaching and hosting events, sharing skills and inspiration with diverse communities. With a proven track record of premieres, collaborations, and broad professional versatility, she continually expands possibilities for artistic expression.

Grace is an encouraging teacher with 15+ years of teaching experience, and loves to work with students of all ages and skill levels. She supports all students in developing lifelong skills such as music reading, foundational technique, improvising, music theory and ensemble playing.
